01 Welsh software studio
Ddraig is a software studio in Wales. The goal: the best desktop productivity tools in the world, on principles most of the industry has abandoned.
02 What we make
One product live. More in build.
Hotkey-driven dictation for Windows. Press a hotkey, speak, text appears in whatever you are typing into. The transcription model runs on your PC.
Press hotkey
Speak.
Text appears.
No cloud round-trip. Nothing leaves your machine.
More to come. New products appear here when they ship, not before.
03 Position
01
Apps run on the machine you bought, not in someone else's data centre.
02
Buy once. Own forever. No tax on the act of working.
03
No accounts, no analytics, no record of what you did leaving the device.
04
Rust where it matters. Small installers, fast startup, low memory.
04 Who
Ddraig is run by Jay Parry, a British software engineer. Writes Rust in the morning, TypeScript after lunch, ships things, lives in Wales.
